Woodingdean Primary School PTFA’s New Website Goes Live

Hurrah! Woodingdean Primary School PTFA’s new website has officially launched!!

Have a look at their fantastic new website here www.woodingedeanptfa.org
As you know, Woodingdean PTFA were the lucky winners of Build14Me’s charity bursary. We built them the website and Lisa Bamford at Brighton-based design agency Stoats & Weasels, designed it.

The wonderful colours and design of the site were inspired by Clara, aged 8, one of the pupils at Woodingdean Primary School. The PTFA launched a logo competition for the kids of the school to design the PTFA’s new logo and Clara was the lucky winner. The competition was judged by Woodingdean in Business, a local community news and business listings website. To find out more about the logo competition, please view our previous blog at https://www.build14me.com/blog/build14me-bursay-winners-woodingdean-ptfa-logo-competition-results/
The site has 9 pages including the homepage. Two of the pages have Content Managed Systems by which the PTFA committee can upload their news and events onto the site. There is also a Teachers Resources page that includes an online form for teachers to fill in when appealing to the PTFA for funding.
Woodingdean PTFA are extrememly pleased with their new website. Alix Macfarlane, Chair of Woodingdean PTFA, said
“Woodingdean Primary School PTFA committee is very grateful for the bursary from the Build14me professionals, which has enabled to have this wonderful new web presence. We love the colourful and clear layout we have been given for our new online look. From our initial meeting to the final design, Build14me team has offered excellent advice about content and guidance in what will work for our needs. They then did all the hard work of making a site very quickly! The result is an effective and useful tool we can use to move forward with  our plans for the future. We have been very impressed with the professional, attentive and caring our site and our team has been given. We recommend other local groups look out for future bursary application deadlines and the chance to work with the extremely supportive creative team of Build14me.”
